At this point, I couldn't do without her. --Christine D., Platia Productions

I have used Helene's management company for accounting, organizing and development of my mental health agency from 1997 to the present. Super Moms Inc.: Work From Home, Build A Profitable Home Business, And Find Time For Your Family When You Have Kids To Take Care Of! This is an easy-to-follow guide with many useful ideas and tips for work that busy moms can do from home. It would be helpful for moms (or dads) that are currently at home with their children and looking to supplement their income, as well as parents with traditional jobs who dream of being able to spend more time with their kids by working from home.

The book is divided into several sections, and is an enjoyable and easy read. It covers advice for steps to take when planning a home business, worksheets for figuring out your income requirements, information about marketing your business and finding customers, and warnings about potential pitfalls of certain common home business ideas. The book also provides lots of ideas for potential home business opportunities, and presents this material in a systematic and straightforward manner. For each idea, Carolyn summarizes the basic premise of the idea, the necessary skills, what you need to get started, tips for improving earnings and ideas for making it work with kids. I work from home, and wish I had read this guide when I was first getting started. Even so, I found some new ideas for ways to increase my current income, and appreciate the practical advice provided in the guide. It is not a get rich quick scheme, and does not claim to be one. Carolyn has provided a good mix of personal experience and practical information here, and I would recommend this book to others looking for helpful tips and ideas for working from home.

How To Work at Home With a Toddler

How To Work at Home With a Toddler
I truly wish I had this book a few years back, when I had 3 children under the age of 3 and was trying to juggle motherhood and working from home. Now I have 5 kids and although they are older, there is much to glean, even now, from this book! First off I loved that Ms. Lepiane starts off with her story. Not many authors do this, and for me, that is very important in non-fiction books. It sets the stage so the reader understands where Ms. Lepiane is coming from, and how what she is about to share is valuable.

The books is well laid out. From setting yourself, your office and your toddlers up in such a way that you can be productive, instead of floundering around. She shares very helpful suggestions for organization, how to avoid distractions and even time saver snacks so you don't go crazy when your toddler(s) vie for your attention (which causes distraction). From scheduling, to being flexible, Ms. Lepiane really lays out a wonderful foundation for you to be able to work from home with your toddler or toddlers. There are numerous suggestions for nap time, special rug time, outside time and so much more. I truly wish I had this book when my kids were toddlers. If you want to work from home and need some guidance as to how to do that with small children at home, pick up this book today. I highly recommend it and will be sharing it with my friends!

Book Description
There are many reasons why a parent may want to work at home, but none is as fulfilling as being available when your child experiences all of those "firsts". If you want to work at home, but are wondering how you will manage to be productive with a toddler in the house, I am here to tell you it can be done! It is not as hard as you think it is. Sure, it takes some special preparations, but you don't have to ship your child off to the baby-sitter to make this happen. For many of us, a baby-sitter would cut into the salary too much to make it cost effective. In fact, finances are probably why you are looking into working at home. This is a concise guide with practical advice from a Mom who has been where you are. I know you don't have time for fluff. You need advice you can act upon so that you can start making money right away. I have done this. You just need a little coaching, and you can work at home with your toddler too. I brought home paperwork from my physician husband's office and sold on Ebay and eventually branched out to my own business, all while happily raising my four children. I am doing what I have always wanted to do. You can too!
